本地經典樂團 Whence He Came 主音 Joshua Wong 於 12 月 25 日逝世，消息由其妻發布。

Whence He Came 是香港經典樂團，由 Joshua Wong 與結他手 Ephraim Bano 於 1999 年組成。樂團其後多次更換成員，他們來自五湖四海，包括中國、馬來西亞、澳洲、菲律賓、日本及美國，唯 Joshua 與 Ephraim 一直未有離隊。樂團曾衝出香港，於日本及新加坡等地巡迴演唱。他們分別於 2001 年及 2004 年推出兩張《Still Admidst The Traffic》及《The Shorter Story》兩張專輯。音樂媒體《Blow 吹音樂》指，《The Shorter Story》尤其是巔峰之作，堪稱「香港獨立圈的經典作品」。樂隊於 2000 年代中期解散。

Joshua Wong 的另一隊樂隊是 Folk Rock 樂團 Noughts and Exes，活躍於 2007 至 2015 年，成員同樣來自世界各地。Noughts and Exes 亦於 facebook 發布了 Joshua 的死訊，指他是個有遠見而有創意的樂隊成員及領袖。
